A program to fit your needs

We have two primary programs here at BBBSKC and many special initiatives. Read more about our programs here.

Big meets Little.

Big Brothers Big Sisters targets the children who need us most, including those living in single parent homes, growing up in poverty and coping with parental incarceration. We want to create life-changing friendships between a Big and a Little.

Community Based Program
The community based program is the traditional Big Brothers Big Sisters program that matches children ages 8-14 from one-parent or non-traditional households with caring, adult mentors. Learn more >

ACES Mentoring Program
This program provides mentors to motivated 8th-11th students who have plans to pursue education after high school. Learn more >

Special Initiatives
In addition to our traditional mentoring program, BBBSKC has developed special initiatives that help us target the children who need our program the most.

HHM - Hermanos Hermanas Mayores:  In partnership with the Latino community, we can help Latino children navigate
the world around them and prepare them for adulthood. Learn more >

Above and Beyond:  This program provides mentors to children who are experiencing specific circumstances that are
“Above & Beyond” our traditional community based program.  Learn more>
