The Black Achievers Society awards scholarships to area high school students each year. This year we are proud to announce the availability of several $1,000 scholarships for African American graduating seniors with a cumulative 3.7 or higher grade point average. Students must attend a high school in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area to be eligible. Schools may nominate students who best meet the following scholarship criteria: academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community/civic involvement, and financial need.
