On May 22 and June 5, we held our Legacy Golf Invitational at The National where we hosted nearly 288 golfers. Teams paid $6,000 a foursome to participate in this year’s event. Not only did golfers enjoy a nice day out on course, but they also enjoyed some pretty incredible player amenities. To give you a taste of what makes Legacy so unique, here is what it looks like for a day in the life of a Legacy Golfer.
Upon arriving, every golfer receives complimentary valet service from Towne Park along with a free car detailing and wash from Extreme Detail.
After entering the clubhouse, golfers walk through a premium Nike gift salon where this year they got to walk away with a new polo, pullover or pair of shoes, shorts or a custom pair of tailored slacks from Michael’s Clothing Company, a choice item, and a golf bag.
Golfers check their gift bag and head out on the veranda where they enjoy massages from The Laya Center along with hot towel shaves from Crisp Cuts. Some golfers even took part in a quick pre-stretch lesson from Yoga for Golfers while others enjoyed cigars from Diebel’s.
Golfers make their way out on course where they enjoy various challenge holes and food vendors throughout the day. Some of our challenge hole prizes included a new Nike golf club, Leinenkugel beer for one year, Southwest Airlines tickets and more.
As the day wraps up, golfers are treated to dinner at our 19th Hole Reception where awards are handed out. Every golfer gets their gift bag and leaves with a bouquet of flowers to take home with them.
There are a lot of golf tournaments out there but what really sets Legacy apart is the golfer experience and top notch customer service. None of that would be possible without an amazing team of vendors, presenting sponsor Heritage Tractor, staff, and volunteers. Thanks to everyone who made Legacy such a success this year!
