Take Kids Fishing Event (BBBSKC Event) | Saturday, August 28th | 9:00am – 1:00pm | Location: Spring Valley Park Lake – 2116 E. 29th St. KCMO 64109 | Hello Bigs! With the help from the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance, The Greater Kansas City Building & Construction Trades Council, and Pass It On Outdoor Mentors, we will be hosting a large fishing day for ALL Bigs & Littles. The first 300 youth, ages 15 and under, to register for the event will receive a free rod and reel, courteous of HUMANA. How cool is that! If you have not fished before, don’t worry! Now is the perfect time to try and enjoy the outdoors! The event will provide you with the necessary tools and knowledge to enjoy the sport of fishing.
