Go Further Foundation is focused on supporting young adults as they make the transition into the working world. Our programs take a proactive approach to supporting Mental Health by providing resources that are a constant reminder that nobody is on their journey alone. Our Young Professionals program consists of Peer Mentorship, Executive Coaching workshops, exciting social events, and unlimited access to all resources. All free of charge. KC Scholars

KC Scholars offers 3 types of scholarship opportunities: traditional (11th graders), adult learners (24+ with some college credit but no degree) and college savings match (9th graders).The application window is open and we highly recommend that all Littles in the 9th and 11th grade apply. The traditional scholarship for 11th graders is an award of $10,000/year up to 5 years. Click here for more information and here to apply. The Arielle Rideau Audacity to Succeed Scholarship is open to any high school senior in Kansas City who lives in Foster/Kinship Care or Transitional Living. For more information and to apply, click here. This scholarship can be applied to university or trades/technical programs. 2022 Deadline: March 31st.

Big Shifts is on a mission to empower young adults to identify what areas of their lives - spiritually, energetically, chemically and mechanically could use more attention. Kansas City’s Medicine Cabinet, a program of  Baptist-Trinity Lutheran Legacy Foundation, provides short-term emergency medical assistance throughout the Kansas City metro, on both sides of the state line. Eligible individuals are 100% covered for: prescriptions, durable medical goods, hearing aids, emergency dental, eye exams and glasses. Program Services

  • Services are free of charge.
  • Our services are available for students from 1st-12th grade. We also provide technology literacy services for adults.
  • Sessions will be offered on a first come, first served basis per our volunteer pool.
  • Each subject session will last one hour and be held once a week.
  • Up to 5 Enrolled students will be placed (based on grade and assessment) with a volunteer tutor/mentor.
  • All students will be assessed upon enrollment and again at the end of the year.
