How BBBSKC is helping students reach their potential through the ACES program

The ACES program applies to matches with students in 8th grade through college, focusing on college and career planning. It provides additional academic and goal-setting support to students as they navigate decisions in their post-secondary journey.

BBBSKC Statement on Racism and Injustice

The mission of BBBS is to ignite, empower, and defend potential in our youth through powerful 1-to-1 relationships. We hurt when we see racism and injustice. Our Black staff, Bigs, Littles, families and supporters are among those hurting the most. When we see these community members unjustly suffering as the victims of inequality and violence, we suffer with them.

An Update on our Summer Events!

Greetings from BBBSKC! We hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.

We want to give you a quick update on what is happening at BBBSKC, as well as offer you one way you can be a huge help to our Littles!

BBBSKC typically raises $1.8 million of our annual operating budget each summer through our special events. Fundraising events have been one of the keys to our success and have helped us support hundreds and hundreds of Matches in the KC community over the past 10 years.

An Update for Bigs, Littles, and Families (Effective June 1)

We have been inspired by all that you are doing to stay connected to your Match as we navigate these unprecedented times. Although many of you have found ways to meet virtually, we recognize that as restrictions are loosening across Missouri and Kansas, many Matches are looking forward to meeting in person.

Effective June 1, 2020, if all parties agree they are comfortable, BBBSKC will allow in-person meetings, provided they follow the recommended guidelines listed below.
