Kansas City, Mo. — (December 7, 2023) Saturday, December 9, Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City will hold its 18th annual Most Wanted Auction.
Annually a class of dynamic, charismatic, charitable, passionate, hard-working professionals are chosen to be honored as Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Most Wanted. These individuals are movers and shakers who are making a big difference in their profession and in their community.
The selected honorees are featured in the November issue of The Independent and have been working on their campaigns that included sponsorships, peer-to-peer fundraising, silent auction items and an incredible live auction pages for several months. Saturday they will be honored at the annual Most Wanted Auction on stage with an introduction video while they compete to raise the most money of all Honorees. All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City.
The event will be held at the Midland. Guests can expect a live auction with an Emcee and 34 Honorees taking the stage auctioning off incredible, once-in-a-lifetime packages. Packages will feature unique experiences, incredible trips, and opportunities you can’t buy for yourself. At the end of the night, BBBSKC will announce the grand total and the top 3 Honorees that is determined by how much their campaigns have raised.
Last year’s event hosted 800 guests and raised $1,248,72 for the agency.

The Most Wanted Auction is sold out but the public is encouraged to participate by bidding on the silent auction which can be found at the top of bbbskc.org.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the auction will begin at 7 p.m. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City.
