Bigs, we all know the incredible impact pet ownership can have on childhood development. Through pets, kids learn critical life skills like self-esteem, empathy, personal responsibility, and even health and wellness. Unfortunately, many kids in underserved communities are missing out on these opportunities. Due to economic inequalities, their families may not have the luxury to spoil a family pet. As a small step toward addressing this, Bar K is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City. We will be offering our second free Pet Education Class for Littles on Sunday, April 25th from 1-2 pm. In this hands-on class, Littles will learn everything from how to read dog body language, how to safely approach an unfamiliar dog, and what to do if a dog is chasing you. **RSVP is FULL**
