Kansas City, Mo. — (January 2, 2024) On January 1, Charlie Hustle launched a new line of apparel to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City (BBBSKC) as part of their Communi-Tee’s program. The custom-designed collection will be sold online and at their Plaza Store from January-March, 2024.
The collection features two custom designs. The first is the classic Charlie Hustle heart design customized with the BBBS brand elements. The second is a nod to BBBS’ newest campaign, “It Takes Little to Be Big”, a campaign with a goal to find new Bigs to be matched with waiting kids not only in Kansas City but nationwide.
Charlie Hustle and BBBS invited current Bigs and Littles to be featured in the marketing of the new collection.
“We are honored to have been selected as a Charlie Hustle partner,” said Micheal Lawrence, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City. “This is an amazing opportunity to be aligned with an iconic Kansas City brand to raise funds and spread awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Funds raised from this collection will go directly towards matching more kids with positive, adult role models in life-changing friendships.”
“Everybody needs someone who empowers them, which is why we’re excited to help raise funds and generate more awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters KC,” said Greg Moore, COO of Charlie Hustle. “Our goal is that great leaders in Kansas City will learn more about the organization and help by signing up to be a big or grabbing a t-shirt to raise funds or share with their friends / family about the role BBBS plays in our community. We can all do something big, and we’re excited to partner with this incredible organization to start the year.”

About Charlie Hustle
Each shirt has a story. That’s what Chase McAnulty, CEO and Founder of Charlie Hustle, believes and what motivated him to create Charlie Hustle Clothing Company. While at the Kansas City Art Institute for graphic design, Chase began selling and trading vintage shirts and became enamored with the underground culture of those who also valued finding a one-of-a-kind 1970’s Nike t-shirt or original Rolling Stones’ concert t-shirt. It wasn’t long before he put his two passions together of graphic design and vintage t-shirts to create what we know of today as Charlie Hustle. Charlie Hustle’s website launched in 2012 with only 16 shirt designs. The ‘KC Heart’ design was the last addition to the collection and has become a beloved icon portraying Kansas City pride and connecting individuals from near and far. The company has a fully operating warehouse and office in the heart of the East Crossroads, a storefront on the Country Club Plaza, a Heart of KC Foundation, more than 200+ licenses, and over 1,000 SKUs in inventory.
