Big Solutions (but with your Little, too!) Best for ages 7-12.
Many Bigs in our program wonder about supporting kids over the summer with their social, emotional, educational growth! We have partnered up with Connectivities to give you some insight into what they offer. Those that attend should bring along their Little for some fun Connectivities activities! We would love your feedback after using Connectivities to see how we can include them more for our matches.
Connectivities are hands-on activity kits that help build social connections. Each activity kit or themed box comes with all the materials needed to complete each activity, picture instructions, instructional and content videos and resources that help build key foundational skills for healthy social connections. Created by teachers there is also a little reading, writing and arithmetic thrown in…..we just can’t help ourselves. Fun for people ages 5-95! For Big Brothers Big Sisters we recommend littles in the age range of 7-12.
Pizza will be provided during a social period from 5:30-6. The Big Solutions activities will be from 6-7:15 and we will end with a fun spotlight on one of our Bigs/matches.
