Speaker: Becka Stow, Financial Aid Manager | Metropolitan Community College – Penn Valley Campus
Join BBBSKC and Financial Aid Professionals for a free FAFSA Workshop for Littles and Parents/Guardians. At this workshop, you will learn about the Financial Aid process and complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Becka Stow is a BBBSKC supporter and the Financial Aid Manager at a local college. She and members of her team will be available to help you learn about Financial Aid and complete your FAFSA, the first step in paying for college. Students planning to attend any college are encouraged to attend this event to get a head start on the financial aid process. RSVP below!
We encourage you to have the following items available to help complete your FAFSA:
- Little & parent's Social Security Number and date of birth.
- Little & parent's Federal Income Tax Return (1040 form) and W-2 form(s). For Spring and Summer 2022, you will need these documents for tax year 2019. For Fall 2022, you will need these documents for tax year 2020.
- Month and year Little's parents were married, separated, divorced or widowed, if applicable.
- Little's alien registration number, if you are not a U.S. Citizen. This is sometimes called an ARN, A-Number, or USCIS#.
Please note that if a Little is in a Legal Guardianship, parent information may not be required. There will be financial aid professionals on hand to assist students and their support system for one-on-one questions, should the need arise.
