Join Big Futures for an exciting field trip to the Career Development and Exploration Center (CDEC) at The Builders’ Education and Training Center in North Kansas City. This hands-on experience is designed for Littles interested in learning more about careers in the skilled trades and construction industry.
Through interactive exhibits, real-world jobsite simulations, and career exploration opportunities, Littles will gain exposure to a variety of trade pathways including electrical, mechanical, structural, and construction systems. Participants will also learn about workplace safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), and the skills needed to succeed in high-demand careers in the trades.
This field trip is a great opportunity for Littles to explore future career possibilities, connect learning to real-world opportunities, and see firsthand how skilled professionals help build the world around us.
