May 10, 2024

Kansas City, Mo. — (May 10, 2024) — Big Brothers Big Sisters KC is proud to host a celebration in honor of the remarkable accomplishments of our 2024 high school graduating “Littles.” Join us as we commemorate their achievements at the Big Brothers Big Sisters KC office (1709 Walnut St, Kansas City, MO 64108) on Saturday, May 18th, from 11 am to 1 pm. This event is presented by our esteemed sponsor, Meta.

This year, we are thrilled to announce that 55 Littles are graduating from high school, reflecting an impressive 100% graduation rate for the 2024 academic year. These achievements are a testament to the dedication and resilience of our students, as well as the unwavering support of their mentors and the community.

Michael Lawrence, CEO at Big Brothers Big Sisters KC, shared his excitement for the event, stating, “We are incredibly proud of our 2024 high school graduates and their remarkable achievements. This celebration is a testament to their hard work, resilience, and the positive impact of mentorship. We are honored to recognize their dedication and provide them with the tools they need to succeed in their future endeavors.”

Adding to the excitement, we are delighted to announce that Mayor Quinton Lucas will be making a special appearance at the event to congratulate our graduates and commend their dedication to their academic and personal growth.
