Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater St. Joseph is a satellite office of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, started in 2008. This office operates under the same guiding principles as the other 400 Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliates. As a satellite office, we enroll the children of our community and match them with caring, adult volunteers in the St. Joseph area. Although we are affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City and follow many of the same procedures we handle all local fundraising, recruitment, enrollment and events all through our office in St. Joseph, Missouri. We use the same donation, volunteer and enrollment forms as Kansas City. Just be sure to choose our office in the drop down menus or by entering your zip code when prompted.

We’re always looking for great people to become positive mentors in children’s lives.  Click here fill out a short online form. We share this form with Kansas City and other satellite locations but your volunteer application will be directed to us upon completion. We will then contact you about our local enrollment process.
