Match Maker Breakfast
April 11, 2018 at The Gallery in downtown KCMO provided a great morning of inspiration to over 230 guests. The 5th Annual Match Maker Breakfast presented by McCown Gordon Construction and hosted by Honorary Chair, Founder and President of McCown Gordon Construction, Brett Gordon and his wife Becky. Brett’s Son, Shane Gordon and his Little, Chase -gave a heartwarming welcoming - followed by Dr. Mark Bedell, KCPS Superintendent. Dr. Bedell spoke on mentorship, the mentors who have changed his life and the quality friendships that BBBSKC creates which ended with a standing ovation.Full Article
Match Appreciation Banquet 2018 Recap
At this year’s Big Brother Big Sisters Match Appreciation Banquet presented by Phone Medic and Wireless Lifestyle, we had over 415 matches attend along with sponsors and supports of the agency, tallying up to almost 1,250 people in attendance. KC Wolf, Blue and Sluggerrr in the house taking photos with matches and strutting the red carpet in style. Moon Drop Circus performed before the doors open with the Rosetta Sisters, an acrobatic duo and Jason D’Vaude, who was able to balance on a very tall unicycle while juggling.Full Article
